Online Learning 2021
Monday 18th January – Friday 22nd January 2021
Please remember to login to SeeSaw at the beginning of the week and then each morning.
This week we are going to be learning about rounding numbers to 10, 100 and 1000 in or numeracy work. In literacy we are going to be learning about recount writing. As part of this we are going to be covering lots of different skills, for example, writing in the past tense, using time connectives in our writing and also writing in chronological order.
Your theme tasks this week for our theme ‘ Anifeiliad Anhygoel – Amazing Animals’ are about the red squirrel. I have posted information to help get you started as well as some creative tasks. These tasks are for you to complete throughout the week and should be submitted on Friday 22nd of January.

Please login to SeeSaw at the beginning of the week and then each morning after. I have posted a video with instructions for your tasks this week. I will be setting daily literacy and numeracy tasks for you to complete along with a video Power Point presentation to introduce the learning tasks.
As well as daily literacy and numeracy tasks I have also set you some tasks relating to our theme this term of ‘Anifeiliad Anhygoel – Amazing Animals’.
These tasks will take more time for you to complete and they should be submitted on SeeSaw by Friday the 15th of January. Your themed tasks this week are to draw a portrait of a tiger using the half image that is loaded onto SeeSaw and below. You can complete this either by printing the image and drawing it by hand or you can use the drawing tool function on SeeSaw. There is also a comprehension reading task about tigers to complete – choose which level you would like to complete – basic skill, developing skill or mastery skill. I would also like you to create a presentation about tigers. You can choose how to present this – it can either be a Power Point/Slides presentation, a poster or a video – how you present it is up to you. You will need to carry out some research about tigers and I have posted some useful information about tigers and some website links for you to explore.
