Croeso i Dosbarth Gwenllian – Year 1

Welcome to Dosbarth Gwenllian with Miss Jones and Mrs Williams.

Just like in your previous classes, in Year 1 we love to learn through play and hands on learning opportunities. We work hard to become independent learners who have the confidence to attempt any challenges given to us!

We use ICT regularly and during the school day often use Purple Mash and Seesaw to document our learning and complete challenges independently. These websites can both be accessed at home too and we find that the more they are used both at home and in school, the more confidence your child will have using them. By the end of the year they are often better than the teachers!!

We find Seesaw is the easiest way to contact us if you have any queries, we check this during the school day if you forget to pass a message on in the morning. Please make every effort to check it regularly too as we often put important messages and updates on there.
